Egypt's ASA and Qatar's State Audit Bureau Sign MoU to Enhance Audit Cooperation
Egypt's Accountability State Authority (ASA) and Qatar's State Audit Bureau have formalized their commitment to expand cooperation in public-sector auditing by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise and the development of advanced oversight methodologies and tools between the two nations. The MoU establishes a structured framework for implementing joint activities and programs, focusing on the application of professional standards, the adoption of modern technologies, and the improvement of audit tools. Key areas of cooperation include joint training programs, workshops, reciprocal visits, and the exchange of institutional knowledge and technical experience. Both authorities will also coordinate their participation in international and regional meetings, conferences, and seminars that address shared interests. The agreement was signed during the seventh session of the Egyptian-Qatari Joint Higher Committee, held in New Alamein City.
