Israeli Teens Develop Safety and Anti-Bullying Tools at Hackathon
Approximately 1,000 teenagers from Israel's periphery participated in a hackathon organized by the Nitzanim program, developing tools to combat bullying, loneliness, and safety risks. The winning project, SafeWay, created by students from Ramle, includes a smart emergency button and an intelligent chat assistant for personal safety. Another project focused on an anti-bullying game for schoolyards. The event, supported by Israel's defense and high-tech sectors, aims to train youth for elite technological roles and build a local high-tech talent pipeline.
