Draft Environmental Report Released for High-Rise Development at 5350 Wilshire Blvd.
The Los Angeles Department of City Planning has published a draft environmental impact report for a proposed 46-story high-rise at 5350-5376 Wilshire Boulevard. The project, designed by MVE + Partners, aims to offer 419 residential units, including 47 extremely low-income affordable housing units, along with commercial spaces and amenities. The design is inspired by Art Deco architecture, retaining historical elements like the Dark Room building. The development is part of a broader trend of high-rise projects in the Miracle Mile area, driven by the demand for residential spaces following a decline in office space needs.
