Army Introduces FEED Program at Fort Stewart Allowing Meal Cards for Fast Food
The U.S. Army is launching a new initiative called the Flexible Eating and Expanded Dining Program (FEED) at Fort Stewart, Georgia, starting August 3. This program will allow soldiers to use their meal cards at various fast-food outlets on the base, including Subway, Starbucks, Burger King, and QDOBA. The initiative aims to provide more dining options for junior enlisted soldiers living on base. The program follows a successful pilot at Fort Hood, Texas, and is part of a broader effort to modernize Army dining facilities. Soldiers will be able to purchase pre-approved menu items using their Common Access Cards, and the program will serve as a model for other Army bases.
