Washington County Seeks Public Input for Future Parks Development
Washington County is inviting residents to participate in a public survey to help shape the future of local parks, recreation facilities, and land preservation priorities. The survey, which closes on July 24, is part of the county's effort to update its Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan. This plan aims to assess the current system of parks, trails, waterways, forests, farms, and recreation facilities, while identifying opportunities for future improvements. County officials are gathering feedback on recreation programs, park amenities, and other preserved lands that contribute to residents' quality of life. The survey includes a questionnaire and an interactive map, allowing residents to comment on existing facilities or suggest new locations for amenities and improvements.
