Pharmacy-Led Meningitis B Vaccination Campaign Calls for Annual Program
The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) has called for community pharmacies to be commissioned to provide an annual meningococcal B disease (MenB) vaccination campaign. This follows the successful delivery of 89,261 first doses of the vaccine to young people in England within two weeks of the campaign's launch. The campaign, which targets young people heading to university, aims to protect against serious, life-threatening conditions caused by MenB. The NPA highlights the impressive uptake and the role of pharmacies in delivering this vital protection.
