Transnational Burglary Crew Arrested in Westlake Village for $100,000 Heist
Four men have been arrested in connection with a sophisticated burglary operation in Westlake Village, California. The Ventura County Sheriff's Office announced that the suspects, identified as Javier Ricardo Pulido Ramirez, Diego Fernando Paipilla Cuervo, Sergio Alejandro Paez Cuervo, and Jesus Miguel Velez Hernandez, are believed to be part of a transnational organized crime group. This group allegedly targets wealthy homes in Southern California, stealing jewels and luxury goods. The suspects were apprehended after a high-speed chase with the California Highway Patrol, which ended with their arrest in the Calabasas area. The authorities have set bail at $500,000 for each suspect and are investigating potential links to other similar crimes in the region.
