World Food Programme Seeks Partners for Integrated Humanitarian and Development Programs in DRC
The World Food Programme (WFP) is inviting national and international NGOs, community-based organizations, universities, and Red Cross/Red Crescent organizations to support its Country Strategic Plan (CSP) 2027–2030 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). This call for partners aims to implement integrated humanitarian, nutrition, food security, livelihood, education, resilience, and social protection activities for vulnerable and food-insecure populations across the DRC. The initiative is particularly crucial in areas affected by armed conflict, displacement, poverty, climate shocks, and chronic food and nutrition insecurity. The WFP's strategy seeks to combine immediate emergency assistance with longer-term efforts to strengthen local food systems, household livelihoods, and community resilience, addressing the complex and prolonged humanitarian crisis in the country.
