El Paso County Deputies Arrest Two in Cimarron Hills Traffic Stop, Seizing Drugs and Weapons
El Paso County sheriff’s deputies arrested Pretson Reno, 48, and Amanda Pacheco-Sammon, 43, during a traffic stop in Cimarron Hills on August 29. The stop, which occurred near Peterson Road and Panamint Court, led to the seizure of two guns, money, fentanyl pills, and other illicit drugs. Law enforcement officials stated that a gun and drug paraphernalia were visible in plain view within the vehicle. Both individuals were taken into custody on $50,000 bonds. Reno and Pacheco-Sammon face charges of possession of a weapon by a previous offender and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Additionally, Pacheco-Sammon was charged with unlawful distribution, manufacture, dispensing, or sale of a controlled substance, while Reno faces charges for aggravated driving after revocation and other traffic offenses.
