Saudia Expands Codeshare Agreement with SkyTeam Partners to Enhance North American Access
Saudia, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, has announced an expansion of its codeshare agreement with SkyTeam partners, including Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines, and Virgin Atlantic. This strategic move aims to enhance connectivity for Saudia's passengers to nearly 30 destinations across the United States and Canada. The expanded agreement will utilize major European hubs such as Amsterdam Schiphol, Paris Charles de Gaulle, and London Heathrow to facilitate this increased access. According to Saudia's chief commercial officer, Arved von zur Muehlen, this expansion is part of the airline's ongoing efforts to strengthen its global network and provide more seamless travel options for its customers. The announcement comes in anticipation of Delta Air Lines' new service launch between Atlanta and Riyadh, scheduled for October 23.
