JNU Scholar Neha Bora Gains Attention During Jantar Mantar Student Protest
Neha Bora, a research scholar from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), emerged as a prominent figure during a student protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. The protest, which focused on examination-related grievances and demands for accountability, saw Bora actively participating and addressing fellow demonstrators. Bora, who is pursuing a Ph.D. at JNU, undertook a 23-day hunger strike as part of the protest. The movement, organized by the Cockroach Janta Party and other student groups, called for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and reforms in the examination system.
