Two Arrested in Bowling Green on Child Abuse Charges Following Welfare Check
Two individuals, Jesse Lewis, 35, and Ruth Fritsche, 32, both of Bowling Green, Kentucky, have been arrested and charged with third-degree criminal abuse of a child 12 or under, along with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The arrests occurred after the Warren County Sheriff’s Office conducted a welfare check at a Bowling Green home. Deputies reported observing unsanitary living conditions, including trash, bugs, and 30 tarantulas. Both Lewis and Fritsche reportedly confirmed the unsuitable living environment. They were transported to the Warren County Regional Jail but have since been released. Further updates on the case are pending.
