US Air Force Airman Dies in Equipment Accident at Vandenberg Space Force Base
Airman 1st Class Cedric Eneluna, a member of the US Air Force, tragically died in a freak accident at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The incident occurred when the heavy equipment he was operating rolled down an embankment. Eneluna was the only casualty in the accident, and the cause of his death is currently under investigation. Originally from the Philippines, Eneluna moved to St. Louis, Missouri, and joined the military in March 2024. Vandenberg was his first duty assignment, where he was part of the 'Dirt Boyz,' a group of US Air Force pavements and equipment specialists. The base is known for launching satellites into Earth orbit and testing intercontinental ballistic missiles without warheads.
