GSA Encourages Federal Agencies to Adopt Proven Tech Solutions for Efficiency
The General Services Administration (GSA) is set to showcase its internal tech innovations to a governmentwide audience, encouraging other federal agencies to adopt these solutions to enhance efficiency. The GSA has been working towards a goal of saving and automating 1 million hours of employee work by the end of 2026. This initiative is part of a broader effort to make government operations more efficient and responsive. The agency has developed a playbook, the Elimination, Optimization, and Automation playbook, which outlines strategies to streamline and automate work processes. The GSA's efforts have already identified 850,000 hours of potential savings, demonstrating significant progress towards its goal.
