GE Vernova Foundation Launches $4.5M Engineers of Change Initiative
The GE Vernova Foundation has announced a $4.5 million investment in its new Engineers of Change initiative, in partnership with the global nonprofit FHI360. This program aims to engage over 6,000 students in Greenville, South Carolina, and Staffordshire, UK, over the next three years. The initiative includes two main programs: Engineering Spark, which introduces students aged 13-14 to engineering through hands-on sessions, and Engineering Catalyst, a two-year program for students aged 15-18 that includes real-world design challenges and career readiness workshops. The initiative seeks to inspire young people to view engineering as a mission with real-world impact.
