DoorDash Driver Allegedly Steals Car Keys from Independence, MO Family, Captured on Security Camera
An Independence, Missouri, family is reporting that a DoorDash driver stole their car keys after delivering food, an incident captured by their home security camera. Kene Luong, a member of the family, stated that her daughter inadvertently dropped the car keys on the front porch while rushing inside to escape a storm. The following morning, when the keys could not be found, Luong reviewed the doorbell camera footage, which allegedly showed the DoorDash driver picking up the keys after dropping off the meal and then leaving with them. The family has filed a police report with the Independence Police Department and a safety report with DoorDash. Luong indicated that DoorDash attempted to contact the driver, but she did not respond to their calls.
