Casper Standoff Suspect William Patricelli Refuses Court Appearance; Bond Set at $50,000
William Randall Patricelli, involved in a standoff outside the Casper Police Department, refused to appear in court, leading the judge to set a $50,000 bond. The standoff, which occurred over the weekend, resulted in road closures as police worked to resolve the situation. Patricelli, facing two misdemeanor charges, was arrested after barricading himself, and authorities believe he had gone off his medications. The judge cited the significant danger to the community as justification for the high bond.
