Israeli Police Neutralize Terrorist in Sharon Attack, Preventing Further Casualties
In a swift response to a terrorist attack in the Sharon plain, Israeli police officers successfully neutralized the attacker, Omar Yasin, from Tayibe. The incident resulted in the death of Master Sgt. Haim Kalomiti and injuries to five others. The police, familiar with the terrain, quickly located and eliminated the threat after hearing gunshots directed at them. The attacker was found in a vehicle, and officers feared the presence of additional gunmen.
