Oklahoma State Senate Candidate Barry Christian Found Dead Amid Ongoing Investigation
Barry Christian, a Republican candidate for the Oklahoma State Senate, was found dead on Thursday, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Christian, who was 54 years old, was last seen on Tuesday in Sayre, Oklahoma, and was reported missing after failing to attend a scheduled meeting. His vehicle was discovered by Beckham County deputies in the Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area, with Christian's body inside. The cause and manner of his death have not yet been determined, and the investigation is ongoing. Christian was one of three candidates running in the Republican primary for District 38. His disappearance and subsequent death have left the community in shock, with his family and friends expressing their grief and requesting privacy during this difficult time.
