WinCo Foods has issued a voluntary recall of its Deli Margherita Pizza Thin Crust, sold under the 'Take & Bake' label, across 10 states. The recall was initiated after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) identified the potential presence of metal fragments in the product. The affected pizzas, packaged in plastic film and marked with a five-day sell-by date, were distributed in Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington. The recall involves 5,066 cases of the product, which carry Julian codes 12255, 22265, and 12415. The FDA classified this as a Class II recall, indicating that the product may cause temporary or medically reversible health effects, though the likelihood of serious harm is low. The recall was initiated on January 15, 2026, and classified on February 2, 2026.
