Austin Luxury Tower Residents Report Safety Concerns Amid Repeated Outages and Damage
Residents of the Residences at ATX Tower, a new luxury building in downtown Austin, are raising significant safety concerns due to recurring issues such as power outages, air conditioning failures, and water damage. Despite paying thousands of dollars in monthly rent, residents report experiencing multiple sleepless nights due to lack of cooling, persistent problems with trash chutes, and visible water damage within their apartments, leading to fears of unseen issues like black mold or electrical hazards. Some residents have also expressed concerns about falling windowpanes and panels. They have provided CBS Austin with numerous photos and videos documenting these problems.
