Tennessee Lawyers Recognized at ABA Annual Meeting for Contributions to Legal Community
During the American Bar Association (ABA) Annual Meeting held in Chicago, several Tennessee lawyers were honored for their contributions to the legal community. Jonathan Cole, a Nashville lawyer, concluded his term as chair of the ABA House of Delegates and was celebrated at a reception hosted by the Tennessee Bar Association (TBA). Memphis lawyer Al Harvey received the Senior Lawyers Division’s Robert W. Meserve Award for his outstanding service. Additionally, Buck Lewis was recognized for his role in launching the Tennessee Free Legal Answers platform, which has expanded nationwide and recently marked its 10th anniversary with 500,000 legal questions answered. Furthermore, Heidi Barcus and John Tarpley, both past TBA Presidents, began their service on the ABA Board of Governors.
