Thailand's T-994 Patrol Craft Equipped with Sentinel 30 Weapon Stations for Enhanced Security
Thailand's fifth T-994-class coastal patrol craft has been outfitted with the Sentinel 30 naval remote-controlled weapon station, as confirmed by a Royal Thai Navy video. This installation is part of a broader armament acquisition program that also includes the fourth vessel in the class. The Sentinel 30 system, provided by Spanish defense company EM&E Group, features a Mk44 Bushmaster II 30 mm chain gun and an electro-optical sighting system for fire-control and target acquisition. The T-994 class is primarily used for maritime security operations, including patrol, fisheries protection, anti-smuggling, and counter-piracy activities in Thailand's littoral waters.
