The ranking is based on various metrics including education, housing, and cost of living. Atlantic Station received high marks for its nightlife, health and fitness amenities, commute, and family-friendliness. Despite its top ranking, the area has a B- rating for cost of living, with a median home value of over $418,000 and median rent at $2,145. The neighborhood offers a variety of entertainment options such as the Art Station ATL, Millennium Gate Museum, and Regal Cinemas 18, as well as popular restaurants like Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ and Yard House. However, the area has experienced some crime incidents recently, including a shooting that resulted in one death and two injuries.
