IDF Chief Orders Military Alert Amid Potential Renewed Conflict with Iran
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir has directed the Israeli military to enter a heightened state of alert, preparing for a possible renewed military confrontation with Iran. This decision follows the collapse of negotiations between the United States and Iran in Pakistan. The IDF is accelerating its war-preparation processes, similar to previous operations on Iranian soil, such as Operations Rising Lion and Roaring Lion. The Israeli Air Force is finalizing updated strike plans, integrating long-range capabilities and precision, while rehearsing opening scenarios for rapid execution. On the defensive front, the IDF is reinforcing air defense systems and preparing for multi-front escalation scenarios, including simultaneous attacks from multiple arenas. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized the urgency of addressing Iran's enriched material, either through agreement or other means.
