Oregon Burglary Suspect Arrested After Crashing SUV During Police Chase
A burglary suspect, identified as Scotty Nicholas Oldfield, was apprehended in Oregon after a police chase ended with him crashing his SUV. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to a burglary report on Southeast River Road, where a 911 caller reported a man entering their garage and stealing items. The suspect, driving a white Ford Explorer, was spotted by deputies and attempted to flee, leading to a pursuit. Oldfield crashed into another vehicle and rolled his SUV before hitting a parked car. He was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for serious injuries. Upon searching his vehicle, deputies found suspected stolen items. Oldfield faces multiple charges, including burglary, theft, and DUII, and has outstanding warrants in Oregon and Washington.
