Sixth Grader Dies in North Stonington School Bus Collision
A sixth-grade student, Torren O’Grady, was tragically killed in a school bus accident in North Stonington, Connecticut, on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. when O’Grady, who was riding his bike behind the school bus, collided with the front left wheel of the bus as it made a left turn. He sustained fatal injuries from the collision. State police have confirmed that all parties involved are cooperating with the ongoing investigation. As of now, the bus driver has not been charged in connection with the incident. The school district released students early on Wednesday and has announced that counselors and emotional support dogs will be available at North Stonington Elementary School in the coming days to provide support for students, families, caregivers, and the wider community affected by this tragedy.
