Fairfield Police Suspect Foul Play in Disappearance of Chantel Brooks, Last Seen at CVS Parking Lot
Fairfield Police suspect foul play in the disappearance of 36-year-old Chantel Brooks, who was last seen in a Fairfield CVS parking lot in mid-July. Brooks was captured on surveillance leaving her hotel job shortly after midnight on July 17 and then later seen at approximately 1:45 a.m. at a CVS in Fairfield, approaching her car in the parking lot. Her family has not heard from her since, and her black 2021 Infiniti QX50 SUV with California License Plate 9SBB134 has not been found, though its license plate was seen by a Flock camera in Oakland. Fairfield Police have conducted numerous search warrants, multiple coordinated ground searches, and extensive aerial drone searches in their investigation. They have stated that based on what detectives have learned, foul play is believed to be involved in her disappearance.
