Severe Storms and Fire Danger for Colorado
The Denver metro area and surrounding Plains are under a severe storm threat, while Western Colorado faces elevated fire danger. The storms are expected to bring damaging winds, hail, and heavy rainfall to the region. Meanwhile, dry conditions and gusty winds in the western part of the state have increased the risk of wildfires. Residents in both areas should remain alert to rapidly changing weather conditions.
