India's Ministry of External Affairs Launches 89th Know India Programme for Diaspora Youth
The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, has launched the 89th Know India Programme (KIP), a three-week educational and cultural immersion experience for youth of Indian origin aged 21-35 years. This edition specifically excludes Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). The program aims to strengthen engagement between India and young members of the global Indian diaspora by providing first-hand exposure to India's heritage, governance, economy, science, technology, start-up ecosystem, and cultural traditions. Participants will engage in educational sessions, institutional visits, and cultural experiences, including interactions with Indian leaders, professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs, and students. The Government of India provides substantial support, covering local hospitality, including boarding, lodging, internal transportation, and airport transfers.
