Hawaii Representatives Endorsed by Federal Employee Union for Reelection
The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), the largest federal employee union in the United States, has endorsed U.S. Representatives Ed Case and Jill Tokuda for reelection in the 2026 midterm elections. Both representatives have been recognized for their support of federal workers and their legislative priorities. Rep. Case, representing Hawaii's 1st Congressional District, and Rep. Tokuda, representing the 2nd Congressional District, have been active in cosponsoring key bills that support the federal workforce. Notably, they both cosponsored the Protect America’s Workforce Act, which aims to rescind President Trump's executive order that banned collective bargaining for most federal employees. The AFGE's endorsement highlights the representatives' commitment to improving working conditions for federal employees in Hawaii, where nearly 29,400 federal workers reside.
