BeyGOOD Foundation Awards $50,000 Grant to 'In a Perfect World' for Youth Programs
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter's BeyGOOD Foundation has awarded a $50,000 grant to 'In a Perfect World,' a non-profit organization dedicated to youth education, creativity, social consciousness, and leadership. This grant aims to help 'In a Perfect World' expand its youth leadership and education programs, particularly at a time when educational and after-school programming faces significant cuts. Allana J. Barefield, BeyGOOD’s digital editorial content manager, expressed gratitude for 'In a Perfect World's' work, highlighting the foundation's commitment to supporting organizations directly engaged with communities. Manuela Testolini, who founded and leads 'In a Perfect World,' emphasized that the partnership will enable the organization to reach more communities and young people, including taking U.S. youth leaders to Central America to build schools for indigenous communities.
