Congressman Deluzio Secures $999,000 for Waterline Improvements in Center Township
Congressman Chris Deluzio announced that Center Township in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, will receive $999,000 for waterline infrastructure upgrades. This funding, appropriated by Congress in 2022 under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, is provided through the Environmental Protection Agency's State and Tribal Assistance Grants’ State Revolving Fund. The project aims to replace a section of the waterline, enhancing water service and reducing maintenance for the township. Deluzio expressed gratitude to former Congressman Conor Lamb for his efforts on this project during the 117th Congress. The funding is part of ongoing efforts to ensure communities have access to safe, clean drinking water. Deluzio's office is also monitoring developments related to federal grant freezes initiated by the Trump Administration, which have caused uncertainty for grantees.
