A Boston property in the Dorchester neighborhood, severely damaged by a fire in November 2024, has been sold for its full asking price of $776,000 just three days after being listed. The eight-bedroom home, previously a two-family rental, was condemned following a three-alarm fire that caused an estimated $1.5 million in damage. The fire, which started at the front of the property, left it uninhabitable. The owners, after dealing with insurance claims, decided to sell the property, believing it would be better handled by experienced renovators. Despite the damage, the listing attracted significant interest from developers and investors, leading to a quick sale. The buyer is expected to restore the property, maintaining its original structure, which includes features from its 1910 construction.
