Oklahoma State Senate Candidate Barry Christian Found Dead in Rural Area
Barry Christian, a Republican candidate for Oklahoma State Senate District 38, was found dead inside a truck in a rural part of the state. Christian, a 54-year-old drilling consultant from Sayre, Oklahoma, had been reported missing after failing to attend a scheduled meeting. His vehicle was discovered by Beckham County deputies in the Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is leading the investigation into his disappearance and death. Christian's body has been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death. His daughter, Brooklyn Christian, has asked for prayers and expressed gratitude for the search efforts.
