Gonzales died at the scene, and her cousin was hospitalized in critical condition with a brain injury. The semi-driver was uninjured and not impaired. The Roswell Police Department is investigating the double homicide, with Manuel Gallegos, 43, identified as a person of interest. The Albuquerque crash remains under investigation.
