EcoCAR Challenge Engages Universities in Developing Future Automotive Engineers
The U.S. Department of Energy and Argonne National Laboratory have launched the latest round of the EcoCAR Innovation Challenge, a college-centered engineering program. Supported by General Motors, Stellantis, and MathWorks, this 15th edition involves 20 universities across North America. The program aims to develop 'next-generation mobility solutions' using technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning. Each automaker sponsors a separate competition track, providing students with real-world engineering challenges. The initiative is designed to foster innovation in vehicle technology and prepare the future automotive workforce.
