Road Rage Incident Leads to Major Drug Bust in Gwinnett County
A road rage incident in Gwinnett County, Georgia, on August 8, escalated into a significant drug bust after a driver used dashcam footage to report another driver who flashed a gun. The incident occurred along Jimmy Carter Boulevard near Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The driver with the dashcam provided the video evidence to Gwinnett County Police, who then launched an investigation. This led to the identification of the suspect, 53-year-old Contessa Johnson. Six days later, officers located Johnson, and what they discovered in her vehicle provided probable cause for a search warrant for her apartment. The search uncovered marijuana, cocaine, and oxycodone, resulting in five felony drug charges against Johnson. Additionally, 45-year-old Conzady Sullivan was arrested from the same residence and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
