PennDOT Completes Repairs on Northbound Route 222 Bridge in Lancaster County
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has completed repairs on the northbound Route 222 bridge over Church Street in West Earl Township, Lancaster County. Traffic restrictions on the northbound side have been lifted, while repairs continue on the southbound bridge. This work is part of a larger 3.3-mile pavement preservation project on Route 222, which includes resurfacing, milling, base repair, and updates to guide rails and signage. The project, contracted to New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company, Inc., is valued at $8.5 million.
