Eagle Mountain Resident Experiences Repeated Property Damage from Vehicle Crashes
Cameron Jensen, an Eagle Mountain resident, has reported numerous instances of vehicles crashing into his fence and mailbox over the past four years. The most recent incident involved a motorcycle on Sunday night. Jensen attributes these crashes to drivers speeding on the road leading to his house, where a curve sign is present but often disregarded. He has witnessed various types of vehicles, including motorcycles, cars, trucks, and side-by-sides, causing damage to his property. To mitigate the recurring damage to his mailbox, Jensen has resorted to purchasing the cheapest available options, acknowledging their inevitable destruction. The frequency of these incidents has made him apprehensive about routine activities like checking his mail or taking out trash. The city has acknowledged concerns regarding speeding in the area and is currently conducting a traffic study.
