Moog Inc. Launches Vengeance Counter-UAS Capability for Defense and Precision Strike Missions
Moog Inc. has announced the launch of its new Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) capability, named Vengeance. This system is designed to counter Group 1-3 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and other low-altitude aerial targets. Vengeance is built around Moog’s Flexible Mission Platform (FMPTM) and an advanced fire control system. A key feature of Vengeance is its modularity, making it adaptable and weapon-agnostic, meaning it can integrate with various weapon systems. It is also Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)-agnostic, allowing for broader operational use across different military specializations. The system is intended for both C-UAS operations and precision strike missions, offering a versatile solution for modern aerial threats. This development comes amidst a growing trend in layered defense approaches against diverse drone threats, with increasing worldwide purchases of systems incorporating radar, sensors, kinetic interceptors, jamming systems, and directed energy weapons.
