FBI Offers $200K Reward for Ex-Air Force Agent Accused of Espionage for Iran
The FBI has announced a $200,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Monica Witt, a former U.S. Air Force intelligence specialist accused of espionage. Witt, who served from 1997 to 2008, allegedly defected to Iran in 2013, providing them with sensitive U.S. national defense information. Her actions reportedly endangered U.S. personnel and compromised national security. Despite being indicted in 2019, Witt remains at large, believed to be residing in Iran under aliases.
