Georgetown University Politics Institute Expands Programming to Capitol Campus, Welcomes Fall Fellows
The Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service (GU Politics) has announced its Fall 2026 class of fellows and an expansion of its programming to the Capitol Campus. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic study and practical politics by bringing former government officials, political strategists, technology-policy leaders, and communications professionals to Georgetown. These fellows will lead weekly discussion groups, hold office hours, and participate in campus panels. Notably, Ashley Callen, former chief counsel to House Speaker Mike Johnson and a former staffer for Republican Leader Steve Scalise, will lead a discussion on 'The Politics and Law of Government Accountability.' Other fellows include former Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh, Anthropic Head of Safeguards Enforcement and Operations Colleen Reding Mearn, former Biden White House legislative affairs director Louisa Terrell, and former Miami Mayor Francis Suarez.
