The layoffs were implemented immediately, and the clinic has stated that patient care services will not be affected. The specific positions affected by the layoffs have not been disclosed. CEO Aaron Johnson, who took over the role in January, cited ongoing financial and operational challenges faced by healthcare providers in Minnesota and nationwide as the reason for the layoffs. These financial pressures have been building since 2025 and continue into 2026. The announcement follows the recent appointment of Brandon Janike as the clinic's new chief financial officer.
