Louisiana Ranked Last in U.S. News and World Report State Survey
A recent study by U.S. News and World Report has ranked Louisiana as the worst overall state in the United States. The study evaluated 71 metrics across various categories, including economy, education, infrastructure, healthcare, and crime. Louisiana was the only state to rank in the bottom 10 in each of the eight total categories assessed. The top-ranked states were Utah, South Dakota, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Nebraska, while the bottom five included Michigan, New Mexico, Mississippi, and Alaska, with Louisiana at the very bottom.
