Sheridan County Commission Approves Grant Application for Airport Advertising
The Sheridan County Commission has approved an application for a State Grant-in-Aid to fund advertising for the county airport. Airport Manager Robert Gill highlighted the benefits of the grant, emphasizing its potential to enhance the airport's visibility and service to the community. Commissioner Nick Siddle supported the application, noting that the funds would be effectively utilized. The grant application seeks a total of $100,000, with up to $50,000 provided by the state and a matching $50,000 from local sources. The funding is structured on a 50% reimbursement rate for eligible costs, aiming to bolster the airport's operations and community engagement.
