Russian Drone Attack in Odesa Kills Three as Ukraine Targets Russian Oil Facilities
A recent escalation in the Russia-Ukraine conflict has resulted in a Russian drone attack on the southern Ukrainian port city of Odesa, killing two women and a toddler. The attack heavily damaged an apartment block, and rescuers pulled four people from the rubble. Meanwhile, Ukraine has been using long-range drones to target Russian oil facilities, including the key Black Sea port for oil exports. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed concerns about the depletion of weapon stockpiles due to the ongoing conflict, particularly the need for American-made Patriot air defense systems. The conflict has seen Russia launching over 2,800 attack drones and numerous missiles at Ukraine in the past week.
