U.S. Army Hosts Industry Day to Enhance Munitions Production Capacity
The U.S. Army, through the Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI), held an Industry Day event at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, on March 19-20, 2026. The event aimed to strengthen the nation's defense capabilities by exploring opportunities within the Organic Industrial Base (OIB). Over 450 industry partners and government leaders attended, focusing on public-private partnerships (P3), co-production at Government Owned, Government Operated (GOGO) installations, and the Armament Retooling and Manufacturing Support (ARMS) Program at Government Owned, Contractor Operated (GOCO) installations. The event also highlighted Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) opportunities. Key initiatives discussed included pyrophoric flares production, assured munitions initiatives, and market intelligence. The event featured over 120 one-on-one meetings to foster collaboration and innovation.
