Miami-Dade County Reports 28.3 Million Visitors, $32.2 Billion Economic Impact in 2025
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) announced that Miami-Dade County welcomed 28.3 million visitors in 2025, resulting in a $32.2 billion economic impact. This tourism activity accounted for approximately 8% of the county's gross domestic product and generated over $5.3 billion in federal, state, and local tax revenues. Visitor spending reached $22.7 billion, with lodging expenses alone totaling $10.4 billion. The tourism industry supported more than 216,000 jobs, representing 10% of all employment in the county, and generated over $12 billion in wages. International visitors, particularly from countries like Colombia, Brazil, and the United Kingdom, contributed significantly to this economic activity.
