Panama and US Strengthen Military and Humanitarian Coordination in PANAMAX Alpha Exercise
Panama and the United States have concluded the annual bilateral exercise PANAMAX Alpha, which took place on July 27. This exercise, supported by the U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), aimed to enhance interoperability, humanitarian response capabilities, and operational coordination between the two nations. Personnel from Panama's National Air and Naval Service (SENAN) and Joint Task Force Bravo (JTF-Bravo) participated in various activities, including humanitarian assistance missions, technical exchanges, and joint training exercises. The exercise focused on improving bilateral cooperation, refining security capabilities, and strengthening the ability to respond to a range of operational and humanitarian scenarios.
